Homewood-Flossmoor High School will retire Olayinka Sanni's high school girls basketball jersey on Friday, April 16, 2010 as part of the Lady McLegends basketball night. After graduating from H-S, Yinka attended West Virginia University and played basketball all 4 seasons. After a stellar senior season at WVU, Yinka was drafted by the Detroit Shock in the 2nd round of the 2008 WNBA draft. Yinka was part of the Detroin Shock's WNBA championship season in 2008. You can purchase Lady McLegends tickets for the April 16th game from the H-F Athletic Office. The cost is $5.00 per ticket with ages 7 and under free of charge. Part of the festivities for this night will be apprearances by the Jesse White Tumblers and a host of McDonald's characters. Come out and help celebrate this important event!
