Girls' Tennis Gets Conference Win!
Addison Trail's girls' tennis team received their first conference match win on Tuesday with a 6-1 victory over Proviso East. Waleejah Rashid, 1st singles, and Angela Streza/Daniela Simpson, 1st doubles, both didn't drop a game with 6-0 6-0 victories. Jessica Mueller won at third singles with a 6-0 6-2 win. Doubles teams of Wioleta Gryzmala/Karolina Kielbania, Maricela Nevarez/Ivana Surjancev, and Lupe Beltran/Griselda Tostado all had impressive wins losing only 4 games combined. Chelsey VanHoose played the toughest match with a close three set match of 7-5, 4-6, 3-6. The girls hope to carry over the momentum to their final conference match and first home match this Friday against Morton.
