Central Volleyball earns recognition
The Champaign Central volleyball team was recognized as one of four Area Teams of the Week by The News Gazette last week. Seven years after the school's last regional title in the sport, the Maroons rallied from a one-set deficit to upend Mahomet-Seymour in the Class 3A regional championship match at Rantoul.
