Central lose to Normal U-High

Central came off the back of their impressive tournament win very tired. Things would not be easy for them on Monday night against undefeated Normal U-High. In very windy conditions on a soft field set pieces would be the deciding factor. U-High had a player who could throw the ball in 50 yards and central knew this before going into the game but were unable to handle it. U-High's first goal was scored off a throw in as the Central defenders ball watched as the ball was poked in at the back post. U-High added a second but right before the half Julio Zarco sent in a teasing cross for clint Miller who finished the ball very well. The U-High goal keeper was very impressive and was proving very hard to beat. Nathan Chisholm broke free and nearly tied the game up but this shot was impressively saved down low at the near post. U-High started to push forward and added two more goals midway through the second half to kill off the game. Central will look to bounce back away to Charleston on Wednesday night.
