JV finishes by topping West

The JV football team finishes the season 6-3, by beating the Normal Community West Wildcats 22-13. The JV Chargers scored on a run by Taylen Alexander, a pass from Taylen Alexander to Trey Ballard, and an interception return for 6 by Cully Wilson. 2 point conversions were made by Kierre Gilmore on a run and a pass from Taylen Alexander to Gabe Omo-Osagie. Gabe also had a 37 yard reception late in the first half and had a sack in his first action of the year at linebacker. Deontre Melton had an interception with a 50 + yard return in the second half. The 2009 JV Chargers are the first JV team to win 5 in a row since the 2003 team that went 9-0. Congratulations to the guys who will be the heart of your 2010 Varsity Chargers!
