The Chargers struggled in the early morning match against STM and were unable to regain control of the match, eventually falling in two. They regrouped to knock off Mattoon, but were unable to repeat a defeat of Normal Community. Their difficult morning left them in the Consolation Bracket, but the Chargers made the best of the situation, avenging their regular season loss to Normal West and repeating a defeat of Urbana to win the consolation bracket and take 5th overall.
JV finishes the season 30-5, leading Big 12 with a 8-1 regular season record.
