The Charlotte Christian varsity mens basketball team was selected as one of eight high school teams to participate in the second annual ESPN RISE National High School Invitational (NHSI). The invitational will take place April 1-3 at Coppin State University’s Physical Education Complex in Baltimore, Md. The No. 7 seed Knights will face 2009 champs, No. 2 seed, Findlay Prep in the first round on Thursday, April 1 at 8 p.m., televised on ESPNU.

"Men's Swimming 6th Place at State; Paul Bohn wins 50 and 100 free"

The Charlotte Christian Men's Swimming Team had a strong showing at the NCISAA 2010 State Swimming Tournament. The men's team finished 6th overall in the 18 school competition.

1- Paul Bohn: State Champ in 50 & 100 Freestyle

2- Will Paden: 5th 200 IM, 6th in 100 Breastroke

3- John Humphries: 6th 500 Freestyle (New School record)

4- Boys 400 Freestyle Relay: 5th Place (New school record) John Humphries, WIll Paden, Justin Wang, Paul Bohn

5- Alexa Dexter: 13th Place 50 freestyle, 15th place 100 freestyle

The Charlotte Christian Wrestling Team had a strong showing at the NCISAA 2010 State Wrestling Tournament with five wrestlers finishing in the top four for their respective weight classes. The Charlotte Christian team finished an impressive 4th overall in the 16 school competition.

1st - State Champion @ 103 - Matthew Zitsos

2nd - State Runner-up @ 215 - David Durham

2nd - State Runner-up @ 189 - Brett Cherry

3rd Place Overall @ 135 - Will Readhead

4th Place Overall @ 140 - Joseph Borrelli
