The girls lacrosse team won their first ever game in the girls lacrosse state series with an 8 - 5 victory over Highland Park High School. The cougars will next battle New Trier High School on Thursday, May 17 at 5:00 PM. The game will be played at New Trier West campus, address: 7 Happ Road, Northfield. Suggest directions to the game: Take 90 East to 294 North to Willow Road East to Happ Road South, parking will be on your right. Good luck ladies.

The girls soccer team will start the state series with a game against Eligin High School on Tuesday, May 15 at 5:00 PM. The winner of the game will play in the regional finals on Friday, May 18 at 6:00 PM. All games will be played at Conant High School.

The Cougars were led by SR Ben Bowers three individual titles in the High Hurdles, Intermediate hurdles & High Jump. SR Tyler Schneider was runner-up in both the 3200m & 1600m runs. SR James Weaver was runner-up in the 800m run and teamed up with JR Joe Sulentic, SO Hugh Hutchison and SO Jack Hutchison to place 2nd in the 3200m Relay. Other placers included JR Darius Cunningham 4th in the 100m dash and 6th in the 200m dash; JR Scott Eilrich placed 6th in the high hurdles and 7th in the high jump; JR Scott Shin placed 5th in the triple jump. The 1600m relay team of Weaver, Hutchison, Hutchison and Justin Bowers placed 4th. The 400m Relay team of Cunningham, Justin Bowers, Erik Killian & Tom Zidek placed 4th. The 800m Relay team of Shin, Killian, Kevin Engebretsen and Tim Bush placed 8th.

The Conant Girls Varsity Softball Game vs Schaumburg has been moved to Schaumburg High School for May 9, 2012. The JV game has been moved to Thursday, May 10 at Conant High School, 4:30 PM. The Freshman game will be played as scheduled at Schaumburg High School today at 4:30 PM.
