Varsity Football Rewards Homecoming Crowd

The Wildkits celebrated Homecoming with an impressive 36-14 victory over Waukegan Satuday (9/26/09). A huge contingent of alumni, including the 30th reunion of the Class of 1979 and the 55th reunion of the Class of '54 cheered as the Kits amassed 317 yards rushing. Rendell Massie ran for 157 yards and 2 TDs. Antonio Sanders added 108 yards and 1 touchdown. Linebacker Curtis Wideman scooped up a Waukegan fumble and rumbled 40 yards for a touchdown, and kicker Will Ossyra booted a 34-yard field goal through the uprights. It was a strong victory for the Kits before a crowd of 3500. The team is gearing up for next Saturday's contest vs. #1 ranked Maine South, 1:30 PM @ Maine South.
