Three In a Row! Hornets defeat Batavia
The Hornets helped out head Coach Vandenburgh by beating his almamater, Batavia, 4 to 0! The scoring began early in the fourth minute when Senior Captain, Don Scholes found Nick Henry in front of the net for the Goal. The play began with assists from Pat Mika and Matt Warta on a nice combination of passes from the back line. The second goal came 2 minutes later on a similar play that began with another assist by Pat Mika. Matt Warta slid across the goal to tap in the shot by Nick Henry who then earned thh assist as well. Later in the 14th minute, Nick Henry struck again, this time, finding Andy Hoch for the goal. The last goal again included Henry and Hoch. Hoch served up a cross that Henry flicked across the goal to Edwin Cisneros, who finished the scoring for the Hornets. Paras Patel and Ryan Knoelk split the shut-out in net for the Hornets as well.
