Tomorrow's varsity and sophomore softball doubleheaders vs. Bishop McNamara in Kankakee have been rescheduled due to the impending weather. The soph and varsity will play at Bishop McNamara on Tuesday, March 23 at 4:30 and at Marist on Wednesday, March 24 at 4:30 PM.
The Freshman DH vs. Oak Forest has been cancelled. A make up date is TBD.

"Varsity Hockey Tops Glenbrook North 4-2, Advances To State Quarter-finals" |

The Marist Varsity Hockey Team defeated third ranked Glenbrook North 4-2 on Sunday, March 15th at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville. The victory enabled the RedHawks to advance to the quarter-finals of the Blackhawk Cup State Tournament.
The RedHawks received two goals from Leo Dignan and one goal each by Jeremy Ballard and Jim Roll. In addition, Ballard was awarded two assists while Pat Evans and Anthony Belmonte were each awarded one.The RedHawks who were out shot by the Spartans 36-24 received 34 saves from goaltender Eric Hagen. With the victory, the RedHawks overall record improved to 44-17-5.
The Varsity RedHawks will now face Stevenson on Wednesday, March 17th at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville. Game time is 6:40 PM and admission is $3.

The Jimmy Griffin Legacy Foundation is hosting a 3 on THREE Basketball Tournament at Mother McAuley High School in memory of Jimmy Griffin on Saturday, July 24, 2010. It will start approximately at 9 a.m. with a draft prior to game time. Games will go on all day long. There will be refreshments and food to purchase for spectators and many outstanding raffle prizes available. Entertainment will be provided during the day. It is a great way to honor a wonderful young man whose passion was basketball and friends.

Any student wishing to participate in athletics for the 2010-11 school year needs to have a current physical on file in the athletic office. Marist Athletics and Sportlink offer this convenient physical on two different dates. These physicals include an additional heart screening option.
