JV Hockey Stops St. Laurence 5-1
The JV Hockey team defeated St. Laurence 6-1 in a CCHL game played on Sunday, September 27th at Southwest Ice Arena in Crestwood. Rocco Dazzo scored two goals and added an assist. The JV RedHawks also received goals from Dan Jarecki, Dan Werniak, Dan Slisz and Dan Loizzo. Assists were awarded to Werniak, Jarecki, Bryan Peterson, Pat Kenny, and Steve Gapski. The RedHawks who out shot the Vikings 37-24 also received 23 saves from goaltender Matt DeStefano. With the win the RedHawks improved their CCHL record to 2-1-0 and 4-2-0 overall.
