Pat & Ann Wirtz scored their final MCHS Girl's Basketball Game at McHenry West High School at Thursday evening's Sectional Championship Game. For close to 27 (?) years they scored home McHenry HS Girls basketball games, also helping out at the Boys games - Ann on the scorebook while Pat worked the clock or announced. That included 24 out of 25 years scoring for the Annual Girls Holiday Tournament at West. On at least two occasions Pat announced and kept the clock! Ann will continue as Registrar & Guidance Secretary at West Campus while Pat will announce MCHS Boys Baseball Games in the spring at Petersen Park's Fred Meyer Field. They would like everyone to know how special it was to be a part of the MCHS Basketball Programs. Go Warriors!
