Alysa Straub makes her mark at IHSA State Tennis Tournament
It has been nine years since a Nazareth female tennis player has qualified for the IHSA State Tennis Tournament. Nazareth's freshman, Alysa Straub, not only qualified for the tournament held in Mount Prospect, but certainly made her mark at the competition. In the first round, Straub defeated Lemont High School 6-2, 6-2. In the second round, Straub defeated Northshore Country Day Academy 6-0, 6-0 to take her into the top 32 singles players in the state of Illinois. As a freshman, this is an outstanding accomplishment and Nazareth is extremely proud!
