Boys And Girls Cross Country Advance To State Meet
Both the varsity boys and girls cross country team advanced to the state meet with outstanding performances on Saturday at the IHSA Class 3A Sectional hosted by Normal West at Maxwell Park. The girls finished in third place as a team and were led by Hannah Magnuson (16th), Taryn Basting (21st), Bailey Kerschieter (30th), Amy Monks (36th), Bekka Rood (49th). The boys were led by Drew Kerschieter (3rd), Bryce Basting (6th), Hayden Ringer (12th), Peyton Scheuermann (20th), and Roman Endrizzi (31st).
Congratulations to the cross country coaching staff and athletes, and a special thanks to all involved in configuring a new cross country course on short notice and making the day a great success for all the athletes!
