Varsity Volleyball Team Finishes Second At Minooka Invitational
The varsity volleyball team defeated Johnsburg in a semi-final match, but dropped the title match to U-High as they placed second in the Minooka Invitational on Saturday. The Wildcats defeated Johnsburg by scores of 25-20, 23-25, 25-12 while they lost to U-High by scores of 23-25, 25-20, 25-19. Sara Motsinger had 18 kills on the day to lead the Wildcats while Lindsey Sturm added 28 digs. Mellisa Turpin added six blocks while Kelsey Ott handed out 35 assists. The Wildcats are now 23-9 overall.
