Volleyball Takes Fourth at Pumpkin Tournament

Wheaton St. Francis and Evanston both defeated the Eagles Saturday. The team played two dominant matches on Friday night versus Conant and Maine West. A slow start on Friday led to a 22-25 first game versus Oak Park River Forest was followed by a 25-8 victory and a 25-17 match win. The semi-finals was a revenge match for St. Francis. The Eagles could not accomplish the same feat while facing Evanston, a team they had lost to earlier in the season. After winning the first game 25-18 and losing the second 23-25, the third game was not to be (12-25). With a record of 28-6 the team looks to rebound with their last regular season match on Tuesday at home. It will be senior night. Come support MaryKate Imrie, Lanie Muys, and Michelle Egan.
