Volleyball Falls in Sectional Finals
Twenty two assists, 16 digs, and four kills from senior MaryKate Imrie, along with nine kills and four aces from junior Jenny Buczek could not lead the Eagles to victory at the sectional finals in Blue Island Thursday night. A season that saw so many highlights such as wins over Lyons, Crystal Lake South, Wheaton St. Francis, and Glenbrook South, came to a close with a disappointing finish. In high school sports, success cannot be measured simply by how far you advance in the state series. The determination, grit, hard work, senior leadership, team chemistry, and fun times these players had, can never be measured. Well done girls! You have alot to be proud of. Thank you MaryKate Imrie, Lanie Muys, and Michelle Egan! You will be sincerely missed!
