Girls XC advances to State Meet
The SHS Girls XC team advanced to the IHSA State meet by placing 3rd at the Sectional Championship. Britten Petrey (2nd), Colette Falsey (5th), and Karen Lesiewicz (9th) earned All-Sectional awards by placing in the top 10. Jordan Wagner, Nora Ferguson, Lizzie Tapia, and Kelsey Steenstrup also contributed to the team score. A special thanks to the JV runners and all those involved in helping SHS host the top Sectional in the state of Illinois.
