Girls XC wins Sterling Invite with 1-2-3 finish
The Varsity XC team won the 30 team Sterling Invitational with a mere 29 points, dominating #1 ranked Iowa City High School (IA) who scored 61 points. Colette Falsey, Britten Petrey, and Karen Lesiewicz paced the race from wire to wire and finished in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively. Jordan Wagner (8th) and Nora Ferguson (15th) rounded out the scoring and each earned a medal while Kesley Steenstrup (22nd) received a medal for the second straight week and Lizzie Tapia (43rd) excelled in her first Varsity race of the season. There were 203 finishers in the race.
