I. Breakfast – Robert Lightell, Bloom High School
- Dennis Michels opened the meeting by thanking Bob Lightell and Bloom High School for
breakfast.

II. Winter Schedules
- Dennis Michels recognized Rich Piatchek’s excellent work on the winter schedules.
- Lincoln-Way East has been added to the bowling schedule.
- Jimmy Daniels discussed the implementation of a web page orientation session to the
entire general body. Bob Mitchell stated that T.F. South has the capability of hosting and
will check on availability.

III. Assignment Chairs and Officials
- Lisa stated that Tom O’Neill will be directed to discontinue assigning Rick
O’Neill to games. Rick O’Neill is not a registered IHSA official.
- Motion by Len Motta to accept the general body’s recommendation for gymnastics
officials’ pay. Seconded by Scott Loess, motion carried unanimously.

IV. Officials’ Pay Increase
- Motion by Phil Svetich to accept the general body officials’ pay recommendation.
Seconded by Len Motta, motion carried unanimously.

V. Sportsmanship Seminar
- There appears to be a conflict with a large cheerleading competition on the seminar
date.
|
|
VI. Old Business
- Larry Bernard reported on his recent IHSA Advisory Committee meeting. Larry highlighted
the revised football format, changes in the athletic physical form, and girls’
participation in pole vaulting.

VII. New Business
- A replacement to serve in Todd Shafer’s NISOC advisory role must be selected.
