II. Update on Web Site
- Dennis Michels shared details of his presentation to the Principals’ Board of
Control. The principals expressed strong support for the web site. However, each athletic
director will be responsible for the $150.00 fee this school year. Jimmy Daniels discussed
the web site implementation phase. Tom Sidote will be asked to add the $150.00 to our
current dues for this school year. Dennis will update the general body at the November 1,
meeting.

III. Officials’ Salary Proposal
- Todd Shafer addressed the Principals’ Board of Control on the issue of
officials’ pay rates. The principals have requested a written proposal to be
forwarded to the superintendent.

IV. Staff Activity Passes
- The topic of staff activity passes was discussed at the Principals’ Board of
Control. Dr. Von Mansfield, Principal at Rich Central, will develop and issue a letter to
all SICA Principals, stating that schools must accept activity passes from visiting
schools.

V. Board Of Control Meeting Date Change
- The Board of Control Meeting will be held after the General Meeting on December 6.
|
|
VI.Shepard/Thornton Soccer Game
- Thornton will forfeit the Soccer game against Shepard, due to the violation of SICA
guidelines regarding the use of players at two levels on the same date.

VII. Assignment Chair Salary Increase
- Dennis Michels informed the Principals’ Board of Control of the likelihood of a 3%
raise for Assignment Chairpersons affected by the increase in workload related to increase
in programs.

VIII.Old Business
| Ron Ray asked for clarification on the wrestling situation. After
discussion, Dennis decided the issue will once again be addressed with the general body on
November 1.
