A nominated
athlete must be a former DGN student who has been out of high school for
four years and has earned a varsity letter in high school or college.
An applicant should demonstrate an attitude of high quality and has
been recognized for his or her leadership on and off the playing field.

A coach nominated for the Hall of Fame should be a retired DGN coach
who has served as an inspirational leader to student athletes for ten or
more years. Moreover, he or she
has made a significant contribution to any North High Athletic Program.
