The Waukegan High School JROTC Drill Team will take part in the Veterans Day Celebration at the Waukegan Township Park Place Senior Citizen Center located at 414 South Lewis Ave. Waukegan, IL, on Saturday, November 7, 2009. This will be the Drill Team's 10th year of being a part of this celebration to Honor the Veterans of Lake County. This year's theme will also honor the Veterans of Lake County that received a Purple Heart during their tenure in the military. The Program will start at 12 noon and end at 1:30 pm. See you there!

There will be a mandatory meeting for all boys interested in swimming for the Bulldogs this year on TUESDAY 11/17 @ 3:45 pm @ the Brookside Campus pool. Help Waukegan High’s Athletic department win $5,000.....The Red Gold
tomato company is holding a contest to find which Chicago-area high
school has the most loyal fan base. Fans/parents/teachers can go to the
company’s Web site, www.redgold.com/chicago,
and vote for their favorite school. The school that receives the most
votes by November 30 will receive $5,000 for its athletic department.
Participating is easy: simply go to the site, enter your name and
e-mail address and give a vote to Waukegan High School. With enough
